Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital's Speech Therapy department seeks a dedicated team member to support clinicians by transporting patients, assisting with transfers and exercises, and preparing the treatment area to optimize patient care. This non-management role reports to a supervisor and requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), BLS certification, and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist therapists with patient care by transporting patients and monitoring their condition.
• Prepare rehab environment by cleaning and stocking supplies.
• Assist with patient transfers, bed positioning and exercise prescription following safe techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with team and communicate patient needs and status.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Attend department, team and organization meetings as assigned.

Job Summary

Provide support to the clinical team in order to optimize quality and efficiency of patient care.

Accountabilities

Assists therapists with patient care by transporting patients, assisting with a patient's personal care needs and monitoring the patient's condition and reporting status to appropriate individual. 25%

Prepares the rehab environment for patient care by cleaning and organizing treatment area and stocking area with necessary supplies. 25%

Assists therapist with patient transfers, bed positioning and exercise prescription, utilizing safe body mechanics and proper technique as instructed. 20%

Functions as a team member who supports and collaborates well with others. Offers assistance to others and communicates effectively the needs or status of patients. 15%

Performs clerical duties as assigned. 10%

Attends department, team and organization meetings as assigned. 5%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

No previous experience required

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

BLS certification
