Athens Orthopedic Clinic, PA is seeking a full-time Medical Aide to support daily patient care in our Athens, GA clinic. Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, patient assistance, and front desk support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains equipment.
• Completes all tasks on Aide Checklist on a daily basis.
• Floats on clinic floor and puts patients on/off ice.
• Ensures equipment is safely secured and treatment areas are neat.
• Maintains linen and follows infection control policies.
• Performs supply management to keep gym areas stocked.
• Assists front desk specialists as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Sets up modalities for patient use (heat, ice, electrical stimulation) as directed.
• Full-time aide is responsible for clinic inventory and ordering/receiving of supplies.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- ESSENTIAL

• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Completes all tasks on Aide Checklist on a daily basis
• Floats on clinic floor and puts patients on/off ice throughout the day
• Assures equipment is safely secured at the end of the day and treatment areas are neat and clean
• Maintains linen in a neat and clean manner. Follows infection control policies for handling of used linen. Ensure linen is changed after each patient
• Performs supply management to ensure the gym areas are appropriately stocked
• Assists front desk specialists as needed.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information
• Performs other duties as assigned
• At therapists’ direction, sets up modalities for patient use, i.e. heat, ice, electric stimulation, etc.
• Full time aide is responsible for clinic inventory and ordering/receiving of all supplies (communicate with part time aides for inventory updates)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
