Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to provide supportive and ancillary services to the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

You will assist clinicians, help patients with mobility and daily activities, and prepare treatment spaces to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 year patient care experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
