Job summary

SEARHC in Juneau, Alaska, is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide/Activities Aide to support residents in an activity program addressing physical, mental, and social needs. You will help prepare spaces, assist with therapeutic exercise, and support clinic operations.

The role requires strong customer service, confidentiality, multitasking, and the ability to work with diverse residents. You may lift up to 50 pounds, use transfer belts, and follow infection control guidelines in a dynamic healthcare

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or within three months.
• Basic Life Support within 45 days.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clinical Competency required within 3 months and every three years.
• High Risk Competency required within 3 months and every year.
• 2 years of direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with transfers, gait, and exercise routines under supervision.
• Assist providers with administrative duties and clinic operations.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and inventory control.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient registration.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.
