Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Under supervision, you will assist with daily rehabilitation activities and maintain competencies as part of the Rehab Services team.

The role requires a high school diploma, with preference for pursuing a degree in Rehabilitation Services, and completion of Rehab Services orientation. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in the Rehabilitation Services field preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of Rehab Services orientation.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily practice of Rehabilitation Services under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists and/or Therapist Assistants in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
