Job summary

Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ, is seeking a Day shift, full-time Physical Therapy - Outpatient Rehabilitation Aide to support clinical staff in patient care and treatment delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting with procedures under supervision, and monitoring supplies while coordinating with the manager on ordering needs. A High School diploma or GED and BLS are required, with 1+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the shared governance model and performance improvement.
• Demonstrates respectful and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Develops an emerging awareness of ethical issues and how they relate to clinical practice.

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
