Job summary

University Hospital is seeking an aide to support patient care and assist rehabilitation therapists in a clinical setting. A one-year patient care background is required, with preferred experience as a rehab aide. All candidates must hold current BLS and Health Care Provider credentials.

The role includes routine patient care tasks, assisting in multiple therapy disciplines, and helping maintain a safe, efficient department to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in a patient care setting required or equivalent education in a related field.
• Experience as a physical, occupational therapy or rehabilitation aide preferred.
• Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider cards.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

One-year work experience in a patient care setting is required or equivalent education in a related field of study as approved by Rehabilitation management. Experience as a physical, occupational therapy or rehabilitation aide is preferred. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider card.
