Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Unit Secretary on a Per Diem/PRN basis. Schedule 9:00 am - 9:30 pm on weekdays and weekends; estimated 1–2 shifts per week. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.

You will perform clerical functions for the nursing unit, maintain logs and chart organization, and promptly notify staff of orders, labs, or messages to support patient care teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills required.
• Clerical experience in a medical setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit, including record keeping, maintenance of logs, and chart organization.
• Notifies the nursing staff and/or nurse manager in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.
