Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Treasure Coast is seeking a Rehab Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver exceptional patient care. You will help set up equipment, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with therapists and nurses to promote recovery.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred, unless hospital policy requires otherwise.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
