Job summary

Medical City Decatur, part of Medical City Healthcare, is seeking a Rehab Technician PRN to support patients' progress alongside therapists and nurses. You will help with treatments, prepare equipment, and contribute to a caring, safe environment that promotes healing.

This PRN role requires 1 year of healthcare experience and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Eligible benefits include comprehensive medical plans, retirement options, tuition assistance, and flexible paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting therapists with treatments and exercises and helping tailor therapy plans to each patient’s needs
• Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining therapy equipment and treatment areas to create a safe, organized space for patients and staff
• Helping patients get to therapy sessions and assisting with dressing, positioning, and other needs so they feel comfortable and ready for care
• Tracking supplies, completing basic paperwork, and sharing important patient information with the rehab team
• Supporting the team with tasks like helping during mealtimes or other duties that keep patient care running smoothly
