Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Jesup, GA is seeking a Rehab Technician/Office Assistant to support therapists and ensure the clinic runs smoothly. This role combines direct patient care with clerical tasks, requiring strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, maintaining equipment, scheduling, payments, and basic office tasks in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualifications

• H.S. graduate or GED.
• Great communication/interpersonal skills.
• Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching; occasional sitting, climbing and balance; regular lifting up to 10 lbs, often 25 lbs, and up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic internet, spreadsheet and/or word processing software.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages and apply concepts of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised assistance to patients as directed by the PTs and PTAs.
• Provide non-patient care activities as delegated.
• Set up, clean, and maintain equipment and treatment areas under supervision of physical therapists.
• Sanitize rooms after each client.
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym.
• Clean tables and equipment between patients.
• Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as directed by office manager including patient scheduling, collection of payments, filing paperwork, etc.
• Perform daily laundry duties.
• Weekly cleaning of the clinic.
