Job summary

Millennium Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Rehabilitation Technician in Fort Dodge, IA for our outpatient setting. The role supports Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy through clerical tasks and patient transport, contributing to a patient-focused care model.

The position offers 30–40 hours per week with a pay range of $12–$14 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, personal days, PTO, continuing education, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year’s experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to perform basic math skills (i.e., add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Demonstrates effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carries out defined Rehabilitation Technicians (Rehab Techs) duties on a regular basis, including housekeeping and maintenance tasks; filing, billing, data entry, answering phones, and other clerical functions or department duties as needed: wheelchair and equipment, inventory; stocking, and maintenance. Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides/assists in the transportation of patients/residents to therapy.
• Responsible for the clean and safe maintenance of the clinical environment and for assigned equipment. Oversees the maintenance of equipment in accordance with infection control safety guidelines.
