ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC in Newburgh, IN seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to support outpatient women's health and pediatric rehab. PRN Rehab Tech role with observation hours and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and able to assist therapists, front desk tasks, and maintain a safe clinical environment while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Interest or background in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start; maintain proof.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the shift.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Work independently and in a team; confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries or musculoskeletal issues.
• Monitor patients and support therapists; ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Greet patients, answer phones, support registration and data entry.
• Safeguard and escort patients as needed.
• Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and organized.
• Prepare patients, areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Inventory supplies and equipment.
• Clean work areas during and after shifts.
• Facilitate an efficient environment for coworkers.

Rehabilitation Technician, Rehab Tech – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Newburgh, IN

We are looking for a reliable PRNRehab Tech to join our outpatient team supporting women's health and pediatric rehabilitation. This position contributes to a safe, motivating, and organized clinical environment for our clients and our team of professional therapists. Great position for students looking for observation hours and exposure to a talented rehabilitation therapy team! What will you be doing in this role?

• Assisting with physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries and/or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disease
• Monitoring the clinic's patients and supporting the therapist with treatment needs – facilitate a convenient and safe environment while providing excellent customer service
• Assisting in front office tasks which may include greeting patients, answering the telephone, supporting registration, data entry, filing, and patient record upkeep
• Safeguarding and escorting patients from one location to another, if needed
• Continually clean and organize treatment areas and equipment
• Prepare patients, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies such as fitness equipment and linens
• Inventory of supplies and equipment
• Cleaning work areas and equipment before, during, and after shift
• Facilitating an efficient environment for coworkers

Our ideal candidate would:

• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have a background or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology
• Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it before the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
• Have the ability to lift, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
