Job summary

VCU Health in Virginia is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to provide direct and indirect patient-care activities under the supervision of licensed therapists. You will help deliver treatments, monitor patient responses, and support session goals.

The role also covers administrative duties such as maintaining environments, scheduling, equipment upkeep, and coordinating with therapy staff. A High School Diploma is required, CNA preferred, and a Bachelor's in Exercise Science is a plus;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital/clinic settings is preferred.
• Experience using computers and software applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Monitor patient responses to activities and report to therapist.
• Perform administrative tasks: maintain environment, schedule, register patients, stock supplies.
• Coordinate or supervise volunteers in therapy areas when applicable.
• Assist with onboarding and training junior staff and billing-related tasks.
