Job summary

Neffsville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, PA. The role is PRN with a pay rate of $55/hour, focusing on improving residents’ communication and swallowing abilities.

The SLP will organize and provide speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation and enhance quality of life for residents, with responsibilities spanning evaluation, treatment planning, and family education.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Commitment to resident-centered care
• Ability to work independently in a PRN role
• Experience in rehabilitation settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech-language therapy services per standards and procedures
• Evaluate residents and collect data for planning and implementation
• Develop individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate residents, families, and staff to ensure carryover of techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services
