Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Scheduling Liaison for its Rehabilitation Services. The role supports staff, physicians, and patients in a high-volume, fully computerized environment, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination.

Qualifications

  • Required: knowledge of Medical terminology.
  • Three (3) years medical related clerical experience or an associate's degree.
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: hospital/medical office scheduling experience.
  • Experience with computerized scheduling system.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Experience in insurance precertification.
  • Experience interfacing with physician offices and third party payers.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Typing 40 words per minute.

Responsibilities

  • Requires general knowledge of radiological procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing and other related functions.
