Job summary

MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury Unit (6N). You will provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for SCI patients, including ventilator/trach care, bowel/bladder management, wound care, and rehab education.

Eligible for sign-on bonuses of up to $10,000 for experienced RNs or $5,000 for new grads. Shifts are 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to SCI/traumatic brain injury patients.
• Administer ventilator/tracheostomy care and monitor respiratory status.
• Support bowel and bladder management programs and SCI retraining.
• Prevent infection and wounds; perform wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation plans and self-care.
