Job summary

Mercy in St. Louis seeks a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process.

You will maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. You will coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and performing duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• One or more of the following certifications may be required: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE modules, C-EFM.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
