Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Petersburg is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise patient care, assess needs, and tailor care plans for rehabilitation patients.

You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care and actively support patients and families. This role emphasizes building relationships, guiding recovery, and participating in a culture that celebrates patient milestones.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments; lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to support recovery.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
