Job summary

Signet Health is seeking a Prospective Payment System (PPS) Coordinator for the acute inpatient rehabilitation program at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. The role focuses on reimbursement optimization and IRF-PAI data management, with collaboration across clinical teams and HIM coding to ensure compliant, timely submissions.

Ideal candidates hold California licensure in nursing or allied health, have rehabilitation experience, and are familiar with CMS guidelines and ICD-10

Qualifications

• Current California state licensure in nursing (RN) or allied health profession (PT, OT, SLP) required.
• Minimum of two years experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field required.
• Experience with ICD-10 coding preferred.
• Previous experience with CMS data collection, MDS, IRF-PAI, OASIS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates data collection on the IRF-PAI for completion and timely CMS submission.
• Ensures evidence of supporting documentation.
• Provides clinical staff education to ensure CMS guideline compliance.
• Coordinates efforts for immediate issue resolution concerning GG scoring and rating.
• Conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI data and assists the Director to address actions.
• Guides rehab physicians and clinicians on capturing tier codes for appropriate reimbursement.
• Provides audits feedback on scoring, rating, and quality measures.
• Implements a schedule for timely completion of the IRF-PAI for each patient.
• Reports key metrics to leadership at daily team meetings.
• Collaborates with HIM coding to identify and document applicable codes.
