Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for rotating night shifts in a fast-paced, patient-centered care environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide direct and indirect patient care, and supervise other staff while maintaining high nursing standards in a Magnet-designated hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Texas license and at least 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Support the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Utilize nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
