As a Rehab Director with Legacy Healthcare Services, you serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting Legacy policies, clinical programs and supporting our mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives full of strength, movement, and joy. Responsibilities

• Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees that allows for discovery of others’ needs.
• Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents while keeping community leaders apprised of Legacy’s programs and other offerings.
• Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget.
• Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
• Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Coordinate daily rehab department activities with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share with the customer.
• Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and utilize scheduling tools.
• Manage CliniFax and ensure all physician signature requirements on the therapy plan of care are met.
• Create and maintain team relationships and open communication with rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
• Assist with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/ MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.
• Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
• Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
