Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Rehab Director to lead the facility's rehab department and serve as a primary company representative, promoting Legacy policies and programs to improve patient care and outcomes.

You will oversee staff, develop clinical programs, coordinate therapy services, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards while maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Clinical background as PT/PTA/OT/COTA/SLP required.
• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care or senior living.
• Degree from accredited college or university (PT/PTA/OT/COTA/SLP).
• Licensed and registered in state where assigned.

Responsibilities

• Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel.
• Oversee internal marketing to build relationships with staff and residents.
• Manage site productivity and budget compliance.
• Maintain a caseload to help rehab meet standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs for the census.
• Direct and train staff in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Coordinate daily rehab activities with facility staff to plan therapy programs.
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees that allows for discovery of others’ needs.
• Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents while keeping community leaders apprised of Legacy’s programs and other offerings.
• Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget.
• Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
• Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Coordinate daily rehab department activities with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share with the customer.
• Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and use scheduling tools for patient schedules.
• Manage CliniFax and ensure all physician signatures on the therapy plan of cares.
• Create and maintain team relationships and open communication with rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
• Assist with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.
• Desirable Monday‑Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements

Qualifications

• Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathology (SLP).
• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living. Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP).
• Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned.

USD $43.00 - $48.00 /Hr.
