Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Rehab Director (PT or PTA) to serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting our clinical programs and guiding therapy services for aging adults.

You will lead rehab staff, coordinate with facility teams, and ensure compliant, high-quality care across disciplines. A strong background in long-term care and supervisory skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living; supervisory experience preferred but not required.
  • Minimum degree from an accredited college or university (PT or PTA).
  • Licensed and registered (PT or PTA) in the state where assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy staff.
  • Oversee internal marketing to build relationships with staff and residents; inform community leaders of Legacy programs.
  • Manage site productivity and implement budget-driven changes.
  • Maintain a caseload to help the rehab department meet standards.
  • Able to assess patient needs and develop clinical programs for facility census.
  • Able to direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
  • Coordinate rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming daily.
  • Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer.
  • Manage staff schedules and utilize scheduling tools for patient schedules.
  • Manage CliniFax and ensure physician signatures on therapy plans.
  • Foster team relationships and open communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate.
  • Assist with orientation/training for staff with guidance from ARD/MSM to meet standards.

  • Assists with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/ MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.

Position requirements:
  • Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).

  • Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT or PTA).

Pay Range

USD $43.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
