Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Rehab Director in Dallas to lead the facility’s rehabilitation program and promote Legacy policies and clinical initiatives. You will build relationships with patients and staff, oversee marketing efforts, and ensure therapy services meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and collaboration with facility teams, with a Monday–Friday schedule typical and a nonprofit caregiving focus."

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered in state where assigned.
• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care or senior living.
• Minimum degree from accredited college or university (PT/PTA/OT/COTA/SLP).

Responsibilities

• Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees to discover needs.
• Oversee internal marketing to build relationships with staff and residents and inform leaders of Legacy programs.
• Manage site productivity and make changes to achieve budget.
• Maintain a caseload to assist rehab department in meeting standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs for the facility census.
• Direct and train staff in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Coordinate rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer.
• Manage staff schedules to meet caseloads and use scheduling tools.

• Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees that allows for discovery of others’ needs.
• Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents while keeping community leaders apprised of Legacy’s programs and other offerings.
• Manage site productivity and makes necessary changes to achieve budget.
• Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
• Able to assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
• Able to direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
• Daily coordination of rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
• Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares with the customer.
• Manages staff schedules to meet the caseload requirements and utilizes the scheduling tools for patient schedules.
• Manages CliniFax and all requirements of physician signatures on the therapy plan of cares.
• Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
• Assists with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/ MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.

• Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP).

• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living. Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP).
• Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned.

USD $44.00 - USD $51.00 /Hr.
