Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Case Manager Coordinator to support the case management department. Location at Saddle Brook, NJ, with full-time schedule Monday to Friday 7AM-3PM, and compensation ranging from $22.50 to $32.00 per hour based on experience.

The role includes maintaining discharge calendars, coordinating team conferences, and handling routine clerical duties to ensure smooth patient care operations in a busy inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in typing and computer skills; office equipment experience required.
• Minimum of one year administrative/secretarial experience in a medical setting required.
• Associates Degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Supports the functions of the case management department by maintaining tools to enhance operations such as the discharge calendar and team conference schedules.
• Greets patients, families, vendors and other parties in person and by telephone; provides basic information regarding hospital services and department functions.
• Communicates with hospital personnel and prepares information for team conferences, daily huddles, family training sessions and care partner meetings.
• Communicates and obtains authorization for precertification/recertification as delegated by the case managers.
