Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
• Experience in health care setting preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct therapy service provisions under supervision of therapists.
• Transports patients to and from the therapy department safely.
• Escorts ambulatory residents to the rehabilitation department as requested.
• Oversees maintenance of equipment following infection control guidelines.
• Maintains daily linen and supply needs and returns soiled items as per protocol.
• Performs clerical duties and therapy documentation tasks.
• Keeps records of equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Participates in quality improvement activities as directed by therapy management.
• Upholds confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
