Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support therapists and assist in patient care at our facility. The role includes answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining inventory, while ensuring a clean and safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or GED equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Models and maintains a safe environment for patient services.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living using proper body mechanics.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment according to policy.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, tracks inventory, and orders supplies.
• Transports patients to treatment areas in a timely manner.
• Provides clerical/front desk support as needed (phones, scheduling, filing).
• Develops rapport with patients and team members to support goal achievement.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
