Job summary

The Rehabilitation Aide assists therapists by preparing patients and treatment environments across inpatient and outpatient settings at the WT campus, under supervision. Responsibilities include transporting patients, keeping areas clean, supervising group exercises, and documenting attendance and billing where required.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS from the American Heart Association, with 0-2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Less than 1 year 0-2 years of experience.
• BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Performs patient care under direct supervision of a licensed therapy professional.
• Transports patients to treatment area with timely arrival for therapy appointment.
• Maintains clean, properly stored treatment areas and equipment.
• Performs clerical duties to insure smooth daily operations of the department.
• Supervises exercise programs, leads group exercises, documents attendance and fees.
• Sets up scheduling, transporter lists, billing and surveys as needed.
• Communicates impressions and objective information to therapists and supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
