Sigma Health Rehab in New York, NY is actively seeking a full-time Rehab Aide (CNA) to support rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assist therapists, transport residents, and help maintain equipment and records under supervision.

The role requires a CNA certification, English proficiency, and basic computer skills; good organizational abilities and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Writes and understands English; basic computer skills.
• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) required.
• One year of experience in a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct therapy service provision under supervision of a therapist.
• Transports or escorts patients/residents to the therapy department safely.
• Provides physical help for patient transfer and safety needs under supervision.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the rehabilitation department and equipment.
• Maintains daily supply of clean linen and commonly used items.
• Performs clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and phone answering.
• Keeps records of equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Exhibits courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, residents, families, and staff.
