Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking a PT Technician to work alongside licensed physical therapists, greet patients, and help run the clinic smoothly. You will guide patients through prescribed exercises, set up modalities, and maintain a clean, organized environment while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with patients of all ages.
• Ability to follow directions from licensed therapists and support treatment plans.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced clinic environment.

• Able to remain on feet and perform routine tasks including cleaning and restocking.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them to treatment areas with a staff member.
• Assist therapists by guiding patients through exercise programs.
• Set up and remove modalities (heat, ice, e-stim, Game Ready, Normatec) as directed.
• Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment and rooms between patients.
• Keep clinic stocked and organized, including laundry and supplies.
• Anticipate needs of therapists and patients and assist where needed.
• Support front desk and clinic team during downtime.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including those who may be experiencing pain or discomfort
• Ability to follow direction from licensed therapists and carry out assigned patient support activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced clinic environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, front office staff, and other members of the clinic team
• Ability to take initiative and identify clinic, patient, and team needs within the scope of the role
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout your shift and perform routine clinic activities including cleaning, laundry, restocking supplies, and moving equipment
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA and clinic standards
• Reliable attendance and the ability to commit to a consistent work schedule; daytime availability is preferred

Preferred

• Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in kinesiology, exercise science, health science, biology, or a related pre‑PT field preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, fitness, personal training, coaching, sports, or another patient‑or customer‑facing environment preferred

We provide training on clinic workflows, modalities, cleaning standards, and patient care support.

Compensation: $ 17/hr - $ 17.50/hr
