Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to support EH&S initiatives, with emphasis on customer support, regulatory compliance, and data management for raw materials and product safety. You will collaborate with technical teams on new product development and maintain regulatory documentation.

The role involves coordinating TSCA, USMCA, IMDG/IATA/DOT documentation, preparing SDS and labels, and ensuring global regulatory alignment across markets while leveraging CHEMGES/WERCS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry.
• 2–5 years of experience in regulatory (EH&S) roles.
• Experience in chemical compliance or food regulations preferred.
• Experience with chemical products, especially additives, is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to regulatory inquiries and questionnaires from customers, ensuring timely communication.
• Maintain and report metrics related to regulatory activities to internal stakeholders.
• Manage global tariff classification, country of origin documentation, and USMCA compliance for products.
• Oversee TSCA certification processes for imports and shipper’s declarations for dangerous goods (IMDG, IATA, DOT).
• Review international chemical regulations and define product clearance requirements for various markets.
• Acquire EH&S information for raw materials from suppliers and build a global material clearance database.
• Generate and update global SDS and labels in compliance with country and region requirements.
• Maintain regulatory data integrity in databases and guide technical teams during new product development.

This role involves maintaining regulatory documentation, ensuring compliance with international and domestic regulations, and supporting technical teams in new product development.

Responsibilities

• Respond to regulatory inquiries and questionnaires from customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Maintain and report metrics related to regulatory activities to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Manage global tariff classification, country of origin documentation, and USMCA compliance for products.

• Maintain the integrity of regulatory data in relevant databases and provide guidance to technical teams during new product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry.
• 2-5 years of experience in regulatory (EH&S) roles.
• Experience in chemical compliance or food regulations preferred.
• Previous experience with chemical products, especially performance chemical additives, is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage projects and programs across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong skills in process and procedure improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CHEMGES or WERCS; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to work an eight-hour shift in an office environment, with extended periods of computer use; limited travel required.
