Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a regulatory exams leader to oversee all exam activities through the Regulatory Relations Team. You will work under the Regulatory Liaison to implement and execute the Regulatory Exam Management Program across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include guiding leadership and LOBs in exam prep, interfacing with external regulators, educating staff on protocols, and managing information requests. Travel is occasional; hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• 8+ years of financial services experience.
• Ability to prepare and deliver reporting and presentations for senior management.

Job Summary

Lead the oversight and management of Regulatory Exam activities for the Regulatory Relations Team. Work under the leadership of the Regulatory Liaison to ensure elements of the Regulatory Exam Management Program are implemented and executed across the enterprise.

Essential Functions

Actively oversees and executes all aspects of regulatory exams for Key including: providing consultation and guidance to leadership and LOBs in preparation for regulatory exams; interfacing with external regulatory examiners; educating LOB personnel on established protocols for exam processes and ensuring those protocols and processes are followed. Interacts with regulatory examiners from various governmental agencies with some level of influence. Manages physical and information security aspects for regulators. Manages information requests from various governmental agencies including: determining strategy for response, compiling and challenging content, determining format, and ensuring timely delivery following established protocols. Performs a variety of quality assurance functions over processes and documentation related to regulatory meeting set up and materials, regulatory report distribution and regulatory exams. Manages regulatory distribution of information, including risk governance materials. Provides direction to committee chairs, secretaries and report owners on content, format and protocols for distribution. Perform RCSA control testing for Regulatory Relations Team Identifies process improvement opportunities. Maintains strict deadlines and ensures compliance with these deadlines within the department and across Key.

Required Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives. Key has implemented an approach to employee workspaces which prioritizes in-office presence, while providing flexible options in circumstances where roles can be performed effectively in a mobile environment.
