Cypress HCM is seeking a Regulatory Reporting and Transparency Analyst in San Francisco to shape AI governance and regulatory reporting. You’ll work with Legal, Research, Product, and Safety to turn complex AI work into accurate risk assessments and transparency documents, building processes from the ground up.

You will design tools, test approaches, and create scalable systems to keep pace with evolving technology and regulation while ensuring clear human accountability.

Descrizione del lavoro

As a Regulatory Reporting and Transparency Analyst, you’ll help build how our company approaches a new frontier of AI governance and tech regulation. Working with Legal, Research, Product, and Safety, you’ll develop the processes that turn complex technical work and AI research into accurate, meaningful regulatory risk assessments, transparency reports and other documents. This role offers the opportunity to help build an AI-native reporting function from the ground up—designing tools, testing new approaches, and creating systems that can keep pace with rapidly evolving technology and regulation.

Responsibilities
  • Build and implement reporting production workflows for emerging AI regulatory requirements, translating Legal’s direction into clear plans, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Design AI-native solutions for collecting evidence, tracking changes, coordinating reviews, and producing reports at scale.
  • Work on complex reporting projects from information gathering, to drafting through to final approval and submission or publication.
  • Build sustainable relationships and information flows with internal teams, reducing repeated requests and making expertise easier to access.
  • Establish templates, quality standards, and documented workflows that give the function a durable foundation while preserving clear human accountability.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Practical experience creating AI-assisted workflows or automations, with sound judgment about testing, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Comfort working with technical information, quantitative data, and unfamiliar subject matter.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to bring people together across different disciplines.
  • Passion for frontier technology and the complex legal and policy issues that surround it.

Compensation: $50 - $75 per hour
