Job summary

Sun Technologies is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst in Mason, OH for a 5-month contract. The role centers on execution, validation, and delivery of regulatory and client reports, using Excel, SAP Business Objects, and QlikView. The pay rate is $43/hr, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

The analyst will own recurring report production, maintain schedules and validation guides, and support audits and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Run and provide requested reports using BusinessObjects and QlikView.
  • Perform QA and validation on each report before delivery.
  • Deliver reports securely via email or SFTP to recipients.
  • Update trackers and production master schedules with run/review/deliver status.
  • Draft and format work instructions using standardized templates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality standards.

Job Description

The Analyst is responsible for the execution, validation, quality assurance, and delivery of regulatory and client reporting. This role supports day-to-day Regulatory Reporting operations by ensuring report deliveries are accurate, timely, and compliant with established requirements. The Analyst serves as the primary owner of recurring report production activities and maintains reporting schedules, validation guides, and operational documentation while supporting issue investigation, audit requests, and reporting quality initiatives.

Specific Skills Needed

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and large-volume data analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance reporting activities.
  • SAP Business Objects or equivalent reporting tool experience.
  • Experience with quality assurance, report validation, and audit support.

Required levels/ Years of Experience education – discuss whether there is flexibility Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities
  • Run and provide requested reports on or before the due date, utilizing appropriate reporting tools such as BusinessObjects and QlikView.
  • Perform the appropriate level of review and quality assurance on each report.
  • Deliver reports via secure email or SFTP to the final recipient.
  • Update the ad-hoc tracker or production master schedule of reports, indicating when the report was run, reviewed, and delivered.
  • Draft, revise, and format work instructions using standardized templates.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, manipulating large volumes of data, and creating and troubleshooting formulas.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proven track record of managing tasks, deadlines, and priorities independently.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and proactively seek solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP BI/BusinessObjects exposure or equivalent reporting software experience.
  • CMS and/or regulatory reporting experience preferred.
