Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Regulatory Relations Senior Analyst to maintain cooperative relations with regulators and support the Regulatory Relations Manager as the central contact for regulatory interactions. You will coordinate responses, exams, and communications across compliance and bank management.

The role involves preparing for examinations, coordinating document requests, and ensuring timely, accurate regulatory communications throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience in Regulatory Relations, Risk Management, Corporate Communications or similar field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry standards and applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build internal/external relationships
  • Intermediate speaking and writing skills

What you’ll do

  • Prepare for regulatory examinations and continuous monitoring, including but not limited to building and system access requests, meeting scheduling and documentation, and the tracking and delivery of exam artifacts
  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely written regulatory communications throughout the regulatory exam and continuous monitoring lifecycle
  • Support system of record enhancements. Maintain exam schedules, internal document repositories, and operating procedures
