Job summary

Fairweather Science, LLC is seeking a Regulatory Permitting Manager based in Anchorage, Alaska, to lead regulatory and permitting efforts on national projects with a focus in Alaska. Qualifications

  • Must possess a BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental, permitting, regulatory and compliance work with progressive responsibilities leading to subject matter expertise.
  • Minimum 10 years of Alaska Experience.
  • Oil and Gas, Mining, and Construction permitting experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to provide regulatory, permitting and compliance services to clients in Alaska.
  • Lead the Regulatory and Permitting business practice, managing clients, projects and staff.
  • Develop regulatory strategies with stakeholders and ensure timely permits.
  • Prepare permit applications and oversee project budgets and reporting.
  • Coordinate document revisions and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and team members.
