Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Regulatory Intern for Summer 2027. Hybrid remote option available, within commutable distance to West Palm Beach, FL or Dover, DE. You will support regulatory filings, FPSC communications, and regulatory projects under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in energy regulation.

The role emphasizes initiative, writing skills, and use of MS Office while contributing to a collaborative team focused on safe, reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced writing skills.
• Must have a high level of initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing special filings, recurring financial reporting, and petitions for regulatory bodies including the FPSC.
• Assists in preparing information relating to regulatory filings.
• Works with Regulatory staff and outside to provide necessary assistance and information.
• Assists with preparation of FPSC customer communications.
• Assists with preparation of regulatory special projects.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Manager, Regulatory Affairs.
