Job summary

The Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission is seeking a qualified non-member to serve as Gaming Commissioner #5. This appointed role oversees and regulates gaming activities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, safeguarding the integrity of the tribe's gaming operations.

The position is a full-time, three-year appointment (June 30, 2026 through June 30, 2029). Requirements include at least 21 years of age, successful background investigation and drug screening, no tribal

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Must not be a member of the Fort Sill Apache Tribe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft365 and professional written communication.

Responsibilities

• Attend quarterly in-person Commission meetings and monthly virtual meetings.
• Review and evaluate compliance with gaming regulations, including tribal and state standards.
• Review and determine suitability of gaming license applications (new and renewal).
• Participate in required annual training on gaming regulatory issues.
• Review, draft, and approve regulatory documents and Commission actions as required.
• Carry out duties to support the regulatory oversight responsibilities of the Commission.
