Job summary

Office of Financial Regulation in Miami seeks a highly skilled Financial Control Analyst to lead examinations and investigations of financial institutions. You will provide technical guidance, coordinate with senior management, and drive rigorous data analysis to support enforcement actions.

Required are strong mathematical, analytical, and reporting capabilities, plus the ability to apply complex laws and regulations. A security background check is required and CAD pay differential may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mathematics and auditing principles.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and present data.
• Experience with examinations or investigations of financial services entities.
• Ability to write reports and apply laws, rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan, conduct and write examinations and investigations.
• Communicate progress to senior management and act as Examiner-in-Charge.
• Provide technical advice to OFR staff and external stakeholders.
• Develop and train staff on examination procedures and processes.
