Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Regulatory Digital Transformation & Data Co-Op in the United States. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Engineering, Business Data Analytics, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and strong Microsoft 365 skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience interviewing stakeholders and presenting findings.

• Support pilot projects involving AI, automation, analytics, Copilot/knowledge management integrations, or workflow optimization, and assist in preparing business cases for system enhancements;
• Perform additional tasks that advance the development of a connected regulatory information ecosystem and reduce manual work across the product lifecycle.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WHO YOU ARE

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Engineering, Business Data Analytics, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline;
• Coursework or hands‑on experience in data modeling, database design, process mining, systems architecture, or business process analysis;
• Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation;
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and strong Microsoft 365 skills;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience interviewing stakeholders and presenting findings;
• Demonstrated interest in or familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industries and regulatory, quality, or clinical systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0;
• Experience with data integration platforms or ETL tools, and familiarity with building or supporting data dictionaries and governance artifacts;
• Prior internship or project experience applying AI, automation, or analytics to process improvement;
• Practical exposure to workflow automation, Copilot/knowledge management integrations, or dashboarding for cross‑functional stakeholders.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.75 to $43.25. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
