Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Analyst for Controlled Substance Data Systems to own and advance the systems that monitor compliance and regulatory readiness across DEA requirements. You will translate requirements into actionable monitoring, reports, and controls while partnering with IT, Legal, Quality, and Operations to improve scalability and efficiency.

The role demands strong analytics, risk judgment, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting compliance, regulatory, quality, risk, or data-driven systems within a regulated industry.
• Experience owning or supporting business-critical systems, applications, or compliance platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, investigations, or regulatory reviews.
• Experience partnering with technology teams on system enhancements, implementations, testing, or validation activities.
• Ability to operate independently and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and ensure compliance systems and monitoring platforms align with DEA requirements and internal policies.
• Translate regulatory requirements into monitoring logic, rules, workflows, and reports.
• Support suspicious order monitoring, due diligence, threshold management, and other risk-based controls.
• Identify compliance risks and opportunities to strengthen program effectiveness.
• Maintain data accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness of controlled substance data.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, investigations, and filings through data analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Quality, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• onsite at least 2 days a week at the Shepherdsville, KY or Mason, OH facility.
