Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to assure survey readiness and drive regulatory excellence. You will collaborate with staff at all levels to continuously improve processes per Joint Commission and CMS standards, and support the Quality Management team during peak times.

You will contribute to patient safety and satisfaction through evidence-based practices, leadership in compliance initiatives, and effective communication with hospital

Qualifications

• Required Education: Associate Degree or higher level education
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior job experience demonstrating leadership, management, and successful communication and interpersonal skills.
• Required License: Graduate of nursing school with Nursing License
• Required Experience: Minimum of three years relevant clinical experience
• Preferred Experience: Med/Surg, neuro, ICU and/ED experience preferred

Job Summary And Qualifications

This position is responsible for assuring survey readiness at Mission Hospital. Responsibility includes working with staff at all levels in the organization and continuously evaluating and improving processes to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance as defined by the Joint Commission and CMS standards. The Regulatory Coordinator will learn and perform additional duties within the Quality Management department that may assist with critical needs, staff shortages or holiday coverage. The position participates in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
