Job summary

A research opportunity is available immediately with the FDA, CDER, in Silver Spring, Maryland. The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education administers the program, with a mentor from the Office of Biostatistics guiding fellows through real or simulated data analyses.

Participants receive a monthly stipend commensurate with education level and experience. The appointment is full‑time on site, with a one‑year initial term, potential renewal, and a background check requirement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has received a bachelor’s, master's, or doctoral degree in one of the relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Work on regulatory research projects under the guidance of an OB mentor.
• Address statistical problems using real or simulated data in a collaborative setting.
• Prepare reports and presentations and collaborate with colleagues from other scientific disciplines.
