Job summary

Better Being Co. is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Scientist to review dietary supplement, cosmetic, and beverage labels for compliance and to manage third‑party certifications.

The role creates ingredient specs, coordinates organic and non‑GMO certifications, and ensures alignment with regulatory requirements across product lines. The position handles multiple projects, collaborates with Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain, and stays current with evolving regulations affecting labeling,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, food science, nutrition or related field.
• Up to 3 years of regulatory affairs or quality-related experience.
• Ability to interpret regulatory text, scientific literature, and technical docs.
• Experience with specification management or label management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate third-party certifications such as USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Halal, Kosher as needed.
• Review labels and formulations for regulatory compliance and substantiation.
• Create and maintain ingredient and finished product specifications.
• Manage multiple regulatory projects and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Support Marketing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service with regulatory guidance.
