Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and support online shop operations. The role emphasizes service lifecycle management, 24/7 monitoring, and collaboration across teams in a hybrid work setup with office locations in Warsaw, Lublin and Poznań.

Fluent English and Polish are required, along with Ansible/Python scripting and JVM/SpringBoot expertise to manage and improve critical infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications

• Ansible and Python scripting for internal applications.
• JVM/SpringBoot expertise covering 90% of applications and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Plan the service lifecycle from setup to decommissioning and implement preventive measures.
• Create and execute monitoring solutions to ensure shop systems performance.
• Handle bug reports and service tickets efficiently.
• Maintain and develop existing systems and address vulnerabilities.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and document operational incidents for quick resolution.
• Support various projects through all project lifecycle phases.
• Participate in on-call duties (at least one week per month) for 24/7 monitoring.
• Collaborate with the shop operations team to ensure seamless integration of ~200 software artifacts.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all assigned IT systems in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role is crucial for maintaining the operational functionality of our systems and supporting our online shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Lifecycle Management: Plan the service lifecycle from initial setup to decommissioning, and implement preventive measures to maintain operational functionality.
• Monitoring Solutions: Create and execute monitoring solutions to ensure the continuous performance of shop systems.
• Service Request Management: Handle bug reports and service tickets efficiently.
• System Maintenance and Development: Maintain and further develop existing systems, addressing vulnerabilities as they arise.
• Incident Management: Analyze, troubleshoot, and document operational incidents to ensure quick resolution and prevent recurrence.
• Project Support: Support various projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• On-Call Duty: Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis (minimum one week per month, Monday to Sunday) to provide 24/7 monitoring and support for shop systems.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team responsible for shop operations, ensuring seamless integration and operation of 200 software artifacts (microservices, databases, etc.).
