Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a two-year approved School of X-ray Technology.
• Must be currently registered as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT and licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
• Must complete BCLS and de-escalation training within specified timelines.
• Prior experience is desired but not required; maintain ARRT CE points.

Responsibilities

• Secure radiology studies ordered to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Operate radiology equipment following policies and procedures.
• Report equipment maintenance needs for assigned area.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and apply skills to patients of all ages.
