Qualifications

• Two years veterinary experience required.
• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience preferred.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
• Provide medication administration as directed by the veterinarian.
• Perform animal handling tasks, ensuring safety and comfort for all animals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including surgical areas and exam rooms.
• Prepare animals for procedures by ensuring they are calm and comfortable.
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the veterinarian.
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Veterinary Assistant or RVT to join our emergency team in providing exceptional care to animals in an emergency and specialty veterinary clinic setting.
