VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our busy General Practice team as a Supervisor. We are an AAHA-accredited, 24/7 hybrid hospital located in Denver, CO, offering a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and teaching.

• Must have veterinary technician experience and be able to supervise staff.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in patient record keeping and compliance with regulations.
• Experience with controlled substances handling and security.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and organize the General Practice department.
• Assist DVMs with appointments and patient care.
• Schedule staff, set shift plans and lead team meetings.
• Conduct annual reviews, training sessions and coaching.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and proper controlled drug handling.

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our ever-growing team in our General Practice department as a Supervisor .

We are an AAHA-accredited, 24/7 hybrid hospital that takes pride in servicing our community.

Location: Denver, CO

Application Deadline: 12/31/2026

Full-Time: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week

Pay: $26.00 - 30.00/hr

This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus . Eligibility and bonus amount may vary based on role, location, experience, start date, and/or other business‑related factors, and will be confirmed at the time of offer.

We have a very busy and well‑established General Practice looking for knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate technicians to help us provide our clients with a high touch and great experience.

Our General Practice Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting in organizing the General Practice department. They are involved in patient care and assisting our DVMs with appointments. They are also responsible for guiding the team, organizing the shift, and managing patients to maximize efficiency. They are also responsible for scheduling, annual reviews, training, kudos and disciplinary coaching.

This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing department policies and procedures.
• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
• Enforcing charge captures.
• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
• Record keeping.
• Marketing.
• Facility maintenance.
