Job summary

Alton Main Animal Hospital in Santa Ana is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. You will provide compassionate nursing care and collaborate closely with veterinarians to elevate medical standards.

As an RVT, you will perform tasks such as diagnostic sample collection, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiography, anesthesia and pain management, dental radiology, and routine dental cleanings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with at least 2 years in a veterinary practice.
• Strong patient care and client communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient advocacy.
• Perform diagnostic sample collection, venipuncture, and catheter placement.
• Assist with radiography, anesthesia and pain management.
• Perform dental radiography, prophylactic cleanings and extractions.
